Accountability 1: strategy
Give input and formulate propositions in order to contribute to the overall Company Industries and Acoustics strategy definition. Translate overall strategy in a customer-driven annual business plan and budget, which are realistic, achievable and challenging.
Accountability 2: budget
Define, manage, follow-up the budget and forecasts while taking full P&L responsibility in order to master costs and ensure the realization of the financial objectives.
Accountability 3: objective setting and achievement
Co-jointly with the CEO of Company translate operating and investment plans into local business objectives, budgets and targets, monitor regularly, and ensure that corrective action is taken in time to realize planned and budgeted results and targets.
Accountability 4: organization effectiveness
Design operating processes, systems and procedures adapted to the specific requirements of the market-oriented business, implement an efficient local organization structure, optimize allocation and use of resources required, promote a customer-oriented and performance-driven internal climate, in order to ensure efficient functioning.
Accountability 5: business development
Ensure the development of the client portfolio, by expanding the product portfolio, handle key accounts and ensure an accurate marketing plan, supported by and in line with corporate marketing directives in order to realize the objectives for sales, market share and business growth.
Scan the market for competitive technologies, and develop these technologies to safeguard our competitive position in the market.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with both raw material suppliers, and suppliers of technical machinery and equipment.
Organize and optimize the supply chain.
Accountability 6: reporting
Report and provide financial & business information on a regular basis, directly to the CEO of Company in order to allow the management to follow-up evolution and progress against targets.
Ensure reporting to local authorities in order to respect local obligations.
Accountability 7: human resources
Lead a competent and efficient staff by selecting, motivating, developing and coaching assigned personnel.
Direct, coach and follow-up direct reports in order to manage pro-actively mid-and long term progress and business development and to take appropriate (corrective) actions when needed.
Ensure the development and implementation of an appropriate HR framework and integrated HR management in line with the Corporate HR strategy in order to ensure that the organization at all times has qualified, motivated and well performing people.
Accountability 8: networking and image building
Build relationships with external parties (authorities, key account(s), industry and trade associations, suppliers, …) and internal partners (within other Business and Support units) in order to represent Company towards the right forums, organizations, target groups and others in order to facilitate a fertile basis for Company’s image and business.
At least 10 years working experience.
Strong managerial skills, both strategic and operational.
Experience in handling a high growth company in a high growth market.
Professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Strong interpersonal skills.
