What sets us apart
Our service is not right for everyone! As a result, we have found it helpful to list some of the things about cre8 that our clients have said make them satisfied and happy.
Investment Peace of Mind Our clients don't want to be on the "bleeding edge" owning possible high- return investments (with this comes high risk); they want to sleep at night. Our clients do not want to be involved in the frantic activity associated with short-term trading or in the gambling element that can be injected into investing. We provide sound, low-cost investments using the same investment strategies as large institutions such as pension funds and major charitable organisations.
Individualised Attention Our clients want to work with someone who takes their individual circumstances into account when giving them advice. cre8 takes the time to develop an overall view of each client's unique financial situation. We are a small firm using a team approach to get to know each client personally. By purposely limiting the number of clients we work with we can provide a level of service larger institutions can only dream of. How often have you had a new bank manager or investment adviser? Do you even know his name?
Investment Expertise We are full-time professionals with specialised education and years of experience in investing and solving various financial issues. Our clients know you cannot develop adequate investment skills from reading consumer finance magazines on the weekends, browsing the Internet, or watching Bloomberg or CNBC.
Objective Advice We always provide 100% objective advice, not sales talk. Most who offer financial and investment advice are product salespersons of one kind or another. The only thing we "sell" is our expertise and experience.
Fee Based Compensation We avoid all conflicts of interest because our firm is compensated for advice by our clients. Don't think for a moment any financial advice is free; you or someone else is subsiding the cost. Such lack of remuneration and cost transparency is the root of poor advice, where the highest remunerating strategies are often pursued. Fee based only advice results, not only in impartial advice but lower overall costs.
Cost Conscious Historically advisers were remunerated up front by the product provider. Products were sold on performance and the level of commission payable. In this "transaction" driven arrangement, there is no drive to question the underlying costs, rather a forlorn hope that the past performance will be repeated and overcome any level of costs.
Unfortunately the evidence shows; costs matter, a lot! Our investment committee is charged with monitoring the costs of the funds selected. A penny saved is a penny earned and is certain unlike a penny of growth which may or may not arrive. We are is passionate about cutting investment costs wherever possible.
